What retention means
Your plan sets how long you can download the sealed PDF and audit packet from Segel. The verification record itself stays online, so a QR printed on a sealed document keeps working. After the download window, anyone can still upload the sealed PDF to check it against the record.
The record is public. The document content and amount are not shown by default.
Questions
Is Segel a legally qualified e-signature?
No. Segel is an electronic approval record. It makes approvals tamper-evident and independently verifiable. It is not a PSrE-certified signature or an e-meterai service.
Does the verification link expire?
No. The public verification record stays available. Your plan determines how long you can download the stored sealed PDF and audit packet. You can always verify a copy you already hold.
Do you charge per approver?
No. Each plan includes a number of seats. Approvers in a role queue do not add a fee for each approval.
What counts as a document?
Each uploaded PDF counts once. A resubmitted version adds storage but does not count as a new document in the monthly limit.
Can we change plans later?
Yes. Start free, then talk to us when the route outgrows the plan. Paid plans are onboarded directly while checkout is being built.
Is onboarding included?
Starter is self-serve. Growth and Scale can add a guided onboarding package for flow mapping, roles, and the first live route.
