Terms of use
These terms describe the Segel preview and free plan. They are not a substitute for a signed agreement.
This is a plain-language draft for the pilot. Have counsel review it before a paid public launch.

The service
Segel records an approval route and seals the approved PDF with a certificate. It is an electronic approval record, not a qualified electronic signature.

Your account
You are responsible for the email or Google account you use, the people you invite, and the documents you upload. Keep access to your organization limited to people who should see it.

Documents and content
You keep ownership of your documents. You give us permission to store, process, and seal them so we can provide the service. Do not upload content you have no right to share.

Free plan
The free plan has limits on sites, seats, documents, storage, and retention. We may change limits with notice. Sealed records stay available for the retention period.

Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months.

Ending use
You can stop using the service at any time. We can suspend an organization for abuse, non-payment, or a legal requirement. Sealed records follow the retention policy.
